Another Fantasy League is in the books, and another winner have been crowned – Elm1nh0! We got the new winner for a quick interview for his 1st place finish on the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 Fantasy League: How are you feeling, winning this fantasy league?
I feel happy and satisfied with how my team performed in the tournament. I didn’t expect much after the first day, but as the days went by, I had the feeling that I’m going to win the tournament.
I have been playing fantasy for two years. I initially started on HLTV and then I also began using the E-GO app.
When I first saw the fantasy league, I noticed that we had the option for 3 transfers, and I knew I had to use all three. So, I picked 3 players from groups C and D instead of 3 players from groups A and B, and kept Chopper and Snappi, who delivered a good average number of points for their price.
My initial lineup was Donk, Apex, Chopper, Snappi, and Spinx. After the A and B groups concluded, I decided to sell Apex, Spinx, and Donk, and replace them with Monesy, Snax, and Wonderful. This turned out to be a good move since the Vitality players underperformed for the rest of the tournament.
NiKo is my favorite player due to his aim and because he comes from the same country as I do.
I play CS purely for fun, sometimes solo but mostly with my friends on Faceit.
My advice is to check the tournament bracket and strategically choose which teams might advance and so on. However, luck plays a significant role as well, so it’s important not to give up because you never know what might happen after the first or second day of the tournament.
