Elite Klan is a Swedish esports tribe built on the values of community and collective strength.
Elite Klan is proud to announce its launch as a professional gaming and esports community, a place where brands and creators can grow together, founded by former professional gamer Dennis “walle” Wallenberg.
walle comments on the vision behind Elite Klan:
“This project started with a simple thought: how do we improve the business of esports? Today, esports is over-reliant on sponsorships and results and struggles with sustainability and profitability. Elite Klan as an esports company will be more content-focused and partnership success and value-oriented, instead of heavily relying on esports results. It’s essentially the opposite of what many other esports organizations are doing, which is building teams with expensive pieces, hoping to qualify for the next major, and always chasing those results, hoping it will lead to more partnerships. Our internal motto is the other way around: ‘Partnership Success First, Esports Second’ because one cannot exist without the other, and we are not looking to burn money.”
We’re picking up the Finnish team Vellamo, who will be moving their entire organization into Elite Klan to join forces. This collaboration was a deciding factor for us, as both we and Vellamo believe that joining forces creates a stronger brand, aligning with our belief that collaboration is key.
Additionally, we are actively pushing for and supporting the growth of the female scene by picking up our female squad, Team Violet. We will invest in content and exposure for the female scene because it definitely deserves it.
The decision to pick up these teams has been based on the people involved in these projects and our confidence that we can develop these clubs positively.
To create sustainable revenue streams and increase partnership value, Elite Klan is starting a marketplace deeply rooted in professional gaming and esports, where our customers can purchase top-of-the-line gaming computers, gear, chairs, tables, and related products. Unlike big box stores, we focus specifically on esports, offering products that professional gamers use.

ETA: Fall 2024
Elite Klan will firmly stand against working with any gambling-related sponsors. We believe that for our industry to grow and for more non-endemic partners to invest, we need to clean up our own backyard first. While this may be a harder path in the short term, we believe it is the right thing to do for the long term and from a moral standpoint. We are not judging anyone else for their choices; this is simply a decision we are making for ourselves and what our brand stands for.
